When you want better picture and sound quality, record your video blog with a camcorder. You can use any consumer model video camcorder -- DV, hard disk, or DVD recording. Just make sure you record in a digital format, for easy transfer to your computer and then to YouTube.

Hello,
Just want to know what type of encoder you use for your movies. They look very sharp indeed without a lot of pixelation.
Pleas could you name the source you use and the encode settings of your movies (and which program you use?)
Thanks a lot, would help me out!
Jeroen
I use Windows Media Player, which does a pretty good job of encoding, as you note. And it's free!
